It has been decided that tourists will pay a higher fare when using public transport. First, I think this goes against EU regulations, under which all EU citizens have to be given the same treatment.

Secondly, it is giving a very bad example to business people. I am sure many readers remember the criticism of those businesses, namely kiosks that sell a bottle of water at one price to locals and at a higher price to tourists. Many used to blame the loss of tourism on this unethical attitude. Am I to understand the practice of charging tourists more is now legal? Even worse, are the authorities tempting these kiosks and businesses to charge more to tourists?
