A university in the US is getting national attention for a mistake its own students would be criticised for.

Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communication in Illinois recently gave 30 diplomas to graduates in which the word "integrated" was spelled without the "n".

The diploma should have been tagged with a "Medill F" - a stamp earned by students who commit factual or spelling errors, but students greeted the error with humour, and the university promised to provided amended diplomas.
