It has been made public that the House of Four Winds, at the very end of Hastings Gardens, will be passed over to BOV International in lieu of the building they will be forfeiting to a square just behind Renzo Piano’s new open theatre. I would like to ask the Valletta local council whether we will be losing all those precious parking spaces enclosed within the House’s front entrance too, like hundreds of other spaces.

One has to keep in mind that the present BOV premises to be forfeited has no park-ing facilities and, therefore, all the senior employees have an existing arrangement in place somewhere or other. If so, I urge mayor Alexiei Dingli not to forfeit all these spaces too.

This incredible house has a drive-in big enough for the chairman’s car. This should be enough.
