A woman who claims to have been permanently disabled by two dentists, including an MP, yesterday filed a judicial letter giving them four days to pay her compensation.

Nathalie Bartolo, 48, of Pembroke said she had first been treated privately by Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando and then by Alexander Azzopardi, in this case both privately and at Mater Dei Hospital, but her condition only got worse.

She filed the letter against Dr Pullicino Orlando, a Nationalist MP, and Dr Azzopardi and against the director general of public health and the government’s principal doctor.

Ms Bartolo said she suffered a substantial disability due to their professional negligence, which left her in constant pain.

The latter was signed by lawyer Aron Mifsud Bonnici.
