Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia said today that more people were returning to the party, including former members who had not renewed their membership.

In a brief Radio 101 interview, Dr Delia referred to the PN fund-raising event today, and said this was not only a matter of raising money but also conveying a message that the PN was moving forward, firmly and in unity.

The PN leader said he wanted to express particular gratitude to volunteers within the PN, and said their presence was a source of encouragement.

He said he was today visiting various PN clubs, and coming away with the sensation that more people wanted to be part of the PN family.

This was also evident in an exercise being conducted by the PN, which was contacting all former members who had not renewed their membership. Over the past month, more than 6,000 people who had lost contact with the party were  contacted.

Many, he said were returning to the party and wanted to be an integral part of it.
