Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri hailed his team's attacking prowess but called for defensive improvements after last night's 4-2 Serie A win over Cagliari.

Milos Krasic was the hero for the Bianconeri with a hat-trick while Leonardo Bonucci was also on target for the hosts.

But Alessandro Matri scored twice for the visitors, making the Juve defence look worryingly disorganised each time.

"We must think that we did not do anything special but play one match at a time while trying to make the most of our characteristics," Del Neri told www.juventus.it.

"In defence we still made too many mistakes and we must improve.

"The team produced many goalscoring opportunities and therefore we must look at the glass as half full. We are still deficient in defence but perhaps we are the team that produces most in the whole championship."

Del Neri spoke in his pre-match press conference about Krasic's importance to the side, but does not want Juve to become a one-man team.

"I said we depend on Krasic, but perhaps I did not explain myself well," he said.

"We want to depend on Juve and not on a single player. In order to be ambitious we need to become a team.

"Milos fits in well and is very important for us, but we still have to work hard."

Last night's victory was Juve's second so far this season and moved the Old Lady up to ninth in the Serie A standings on seven points - one point and two places better off than opponents Cagliari.
