Maltese professional driver Charles Degiorgio won one of the autostart races held at the Mantorp racetrack in Sweden yesterday.

Degiorgio, driving Dutch Ygor Of Pass, topped the 2,640m race in an average of 1.18.6" per kilometer to finish ahead of Cipolla (Eva Lundahl) and Norwegian Rock N'Roll (Tony Wallin).

The winning horse is owned by a Maltese company, Sammut Concrete Supplies.

In another race held on the shorter 2,140m, Degiorgio placed second with Buddy Buddy Run. Danger Rose (Tony Wallin) won the race in an average of 1.17.7" per kilometre.
