The Parliamentary debate on Enemalta's deal with Shanghai Electric will be held on Wednesday after having been postponed twice, government whip Godfrey Farrugia told the House Business Committee this evening.

Nationalist whip David Agius said the Opposition wanted the debate, but it would not be a fair debate if the government did not publish the relevant agreements.

Mr Abela said the government had published more documentation than ever before and could not do more.

Mario de Marco, deputy leader of the opposition, said the government could publish the agreements without the pages that were commercially.

Mr Abela said no more documents could be published.
