Emergency services were still working on the UK’s A27 yesterday at the site where a historic Hawker Hunter fighter jet plummeted on to the major south coast road on Saturday at Shoreham in West Sussex after failing to pull out of a loop manoeuvre. Sussex Police Assistant Chief Constable Steve Barry said police had identified 11 people, up from seven, as "highly likely to have died in this tragedy". He added they could not yet formally identify any of those who had died.
