Nationalist MP David Agius this morning became the first MP to launch his own mobile phone application.
Speaking at a press conference at Hugo's Lounge in Paceville, Mr Agius said the app was a good way for him to connect with younger, tech-savvy voters.
He hoped other Nationalist MPs would follow his example by embracing modern technology and making themselves more accessible.
"It's a new way of doing politics," he said.
Users of the 'David Agius Malta' app can keep updated with the latest government news and with Mr Agius's daily schedule.
They can also follow projects and campaigns supported by Mr Agius and make an appointment with him.
The app was developed by Swieqi-based company Sassy Apps.
