A Los Angeles area home turned crime scene after police say a father shot and killed his son because he was gay.
Prosecutors say 69-year-old Shehada Issa had threatened to kill his 29-year-old son in the past because of his sexual orientation.
Police found the son, Amir Issa, shot dead outside the family's house in North Hills, California.
The body of his mother was found inside the house, and police are investigating the cause of her death.
The father has been charged with willful, deliberate, and premeditated murder of his son.
He's being held without bail pending his arraignment.
If convicted, he could face life in prison.
