The Czech Republic is present at the 45th International Fair of Malta with an information stand. The concept behind this participation is primarily for market research purposes, in anticipation of a fully fledged participation at next year's fair.

Following the establishment of the new CzechTrade branch office in Malta, business contacts between Maltese companies interested in importing Czech products and also doing business with the Czech Republic for third countries in North Africa have increased, and this participation will enable Maltese businessmen to enquire further on these possibilities.

Literature promoting Prague and the Czech Republic is also being distributed to the many visitors to the fair. Prague has now established itself as a top destination for Maltese travellers, offering a unique holiday with a difference.

The Czech pavilion has been organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Rome, the consulate of the Czech Republic in Malta and the CzechTrade external branch office in Naxxar.

The stand co-ordinators are Sun Drive Co Ltd, Exhibition Services of Brno in the Czech Republic.

The exhibitors at the Czech pavilion are: Prowork Co Ltd, who produce office and industrial chairs, managers' and directors' armchairs, ergonomic and special seats in medium high class (with a three-year guaranty); Graphis DTP Studio Ltd, who produce prepress, corporate identity design and photography; SITEL Co Ltd, who construct integrated telecommunication solutions and offer integrated design in the field of telecommunications and telecommunication technology; the printing house Grafico Co Ltd; and Arch. Design Co Ltd, producers of Organico and Line office furniture.
