¤ Australia beat Pakistan by 31 runs to win the second one-day final at the Sydney Cricket Ground yesterday and clinch the best-of-three series 2-0. Australia made 239 for nine from their 50 overs. Damien Martyn top-scored with 43 while Ricky Ponting made 41, Adam Gilchrist 40 and Michael Clarke 38. Pakistan collapsed to be all out for 208 in the 46th over despite a defiant 51 from Yousuf Youhana and 43 from Abdul Razzaq.

¤ South Africa defeated England by 108 runs in the fourth one-day international at Newlands yesterday to take a 2-1 lead in the seven match series. Scores: South Africa: 291-5 in 50 overs (Herschelle Gibbs 100, Jacques Kallis 71, Justin Kemp 57). England 183 in 41.2 overs (Kevin Pietersen 75).
