The Malta Association of Credit Management has been appointed official MBA Corporate Partner of the European Institute of Education within the Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch MBA programme.

Offered exclusively in Malta by EIE, the IUKB MBA is a post-graduate degree recognised by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre.

It is a lecture-based, two-year MBA accessible to students in possession of a recognised diploma or Bachelor's degree, who are mature to undertake studies at Master's level, and who have work experience preferably in supervisory or managerial position.

The IUKB MBA is offered twice a year through intakes in March and October. Students are required to choose one of the majors: business, banking or tourism.

The Malta Association of Credit Management is a non-profit organisation which promotes and protects all credit interest involving Maltese businesses. It is the ICM (UK) accredited training centre for Malta. The association is a member of the Federation of European Credit Management Associations.

MACM director general Josef Busuttil said graduate students of the Institute of Credit Management (ICM - UK), who had studied at the MACM Training Centre are now able to progress in their credit career by obtaining an MBA in Business Studies.

"Credit management is the business function that manges cash flow and cash flow is the lifeblood of any business," he said. "Maltese businesses should invest in skilled and qualified people to manage their cash flow effectively and profitably."

The Institut Universitaire Kurt Bosch (IUKB) is a university institute situated in Sion and is recognised by the Swiss government.

This recognition ensures world-wide recognition of the IUKB degrees.
