• Roses: Buy some freshly-cut roses and place them wherever you fancy. In vases, in collected large shells or even hang some on the door or have petals in a bowl with water;

• String some stuffed hearts with a satin ribbon to make either door or drawer hangers;

• Place one of your best photos on the dining table or any other place to remind your loved one of the particular moment captured;

• Use any red or pink colour for the sheets, sofa covers or table covers on the day;

• Add to your room candles and flowers... they surely give your atmosphere a romantic touch;

• If preparing a romantic dinner, fold crisp white napkins into heart shapes;

• Scatter petals along pathways, indoors or out, to lead your sweetheart to a special, romantic location. You may even toss some petals on your dinner table in between place settings or along a table runner;

• Or you could try planning a treasure hunt... Scatter hints around the house till you lead your loved one to his/her surprise;

• Buy aroma candles of all shapes and sizes and just before your loved one is about to arrive light every one of them.
