A 17-year-old boy produced false ID cards for his friends so that they could go clubbing, a court heard today.
The teenager, who cannot be named because he is a minor, was stopped by security officers at a night club.
He admitted his crime in court today, nodding when Magistrate Neville Camilleri asked him if he knew that he could go to jail for what he had done.
Defence lawyer Joseph Giglio argued that this was a folly of youth and the boy had learnt his lesson.
The Magistrate placed the boy under probation and warned him not to repeat his behaviour.
