A man who was involved in a traffic accident which caused a motorcyclist to suffer from a permanent disability of three per cent has been ordered by a court to pay the motorcyclist €9,950.

Ludvic Camilleri had been driving a Peugeot 306 which crashed into the Yamaha motorbike, that was being driven by Joseph Muscat.

The court heard that Mr Camilleri came out of a side-street, ignored a stop sign and crashed into the biker.

As a result of the accident, Mr Muscat injured his shoulder and could not work for some time. He still cannot do certain work.

In the accident he also lost his bike which split in half.
