The Institute of Agriculture is organising a Basic Course in Apiculture, the first in a series of certificate courses it is offering. The aim of the course is to introduce the participants to a basic knowledge of the honey bee, beekeeping management and bee products.

Two-hour lectures will be held once a week for a total of 30 hours, starting in the last week of May. The course is open to interested persons aged over 16.
