A man in the UK suffered a broken leg and a woman was also taken to hospital after the couple were apparently run over by their own car.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to the incident in Lid Lane in Cheadle, Staffordshire, yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman said: "Crews responded to an incident following reports that two people had been injured by their own car.
"The couple appear to have got out of their vehicle as it rolled forward, causing injury to both of them."
The man, in his 20s, was treated for a fractured leg and taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, said medics.
A young woman was also taken to hospital with leg injuries.
