It looks like the business of VRT inspectors is doing extremely well. Good luck to them. However, drivers who go for their routine inspections every two years are having problems. Pothole damage to their vehicles caused by road defects, such as damaged shock absorbers, broken suspension springs and even distorted wheels, are having a toll on their pocket.

Some roads are really in poor condition with potholes here, there and everywhere. Besides, it is not that easy to spot potholes on the road, especially if you are in a bit of a hurry.

There is a chronic need for more investment in existing roads, where drivers experience problems on a daily basis.

Can the minister responsible for our roads please take note?
