The owner of a regatta club in Cospicua has filed a judicial protest after embellishment works allegedly blocked the only access to the club.

Benny Bondin said he had no option but to file the protest after he tried repeatedly to come to some sort of agreement with Transport Malta. Mr Bondin’s club is along the Cospicua sea front, near Dock 1, which is being transformed into a marina and where paving works are currently underway. Not only were the works blocking access to his premises but they were causing a lot of dust as a result of the construction work.

He is holding Transport Malta responsible for any damages.

Lawyer Noel Camilleri signed the suit.
