Canon Europe has launched a new series of black and white multifunctional printers (MFPs). The new series featuring the iR2018(i)/22(i)/25(i)/30(i) models, deliver a cost-effective, print ready, "entry-level" MFP solution for small businesses and corporate workgroups, the company said.

The new series features eight new models of MFP which can be used as a standalone device or easily installed on a company's corporate network.

Small businesses that have basic print and copy needs often find that office multifunctional devices can be feature heavy and expensive. As a result, Canon's new iR2018-30 range offers cost-effective MFPs that provide print, copy, scan, and fax functions in black and white. The devices are also able to send documents to multiple e-mail and network destinations in colour.

The new series now have faster output speeds between 18 and 30 pages per minute, and boast high functionality by employing touch screen technology to enable users to operate the printers with greater ease. It also offers basic document finishing, which includes stapling.

The new Canon iR2018(i)/22(i)/25(i)/30(i) models will be available across Europe and in Malta at Canon's local agent Avantech Limited, Sta Venera and can be viewed at www.avantech.com.mt.
