Sib Laboratories Ltd, a Maltese company involved in scientific and laboratory research within the biomedical sector, recently signed a cooperation agreement with the University to collaborate on a number of projects.

The agreement complements the University's efforts to promote research and scientific collaboration with industry.

An introductory seminar was held recently for university professors and heads of departments, in which Olivier Raimond, Sib Lab's scientific manager, presented various projects the company is involved in.

In the coming months, the two entities will be identifying new collaborative research projects with the aim of developing a strong working relationship.

Sib Lab also intends to provide grants to enable university students to engage in the scientific research projects.
