Parliament should have a more active and important role to ensure that the country’s authorities worked in an efficient manner for the people’s benefit, the Consumers’ Association said.

This is one of a number of proposals it presented to political parties to include in their electoral manifesto.

The association makes specific proposals including for a one stop shop for consumers and for telecommunications operators to be bound with conditions before signing contracts.
