3 Repairs/ 3 Group has been ordered to refund €49 after anti-pornography software supplied to a client did not work.

The company was 'named and shamed' after it completely ignored the Consumer Claims Tribunal decision, failing to turn up at the sitting or to submit a written reply.

The consumer paid the company to install anti-pornography software since his computer was being used by minors. After the installation was carried out and paid for, the problem persisted as this material was still downloadable. Although the installer was contacted, the consumer was not provided with a remedy.
