Karen Tolner sent me this letter:
'As far as I know, my Consumer Claims Tribunal (CCT) case 1/07 has been featured in a list four times, the latest published on March 23. This is to inform you that there has been no reaction at all from Anthony Galea of Windsor. Perhaps featuring it more often would be more effective.
'Thank you for your input and efforts to educate and protect consumers.'
I have been featuring lists of traders who did not honour the CCT decision since 1993. Most traders do care about their reputation and, once a decision is made by the CCT arbiter, they co-operate.
However there are those who don't seem to care. We used to regularly feature a list of traders who refused to honour the CCT arbiter's decision.
Unfortunately however, we've had cases where when the traders involved honoured the CCT arbiter's decision, consumers wouldn't inform us. So subsequently, we decided not to feature the list. However eventually we resumed naming traders who have not honoured the CCT decision. I take the opportunity to appeal to consumers and traders to inform me if a trader in the list honours his CCT decision. This is our new list.
