On its 15th anniversary, the St Julian’s Choral Group is today organising a Holy Week concert, entitled Crux Fidelis, at the church of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Paceville at 7.15pm.

The concert includes choral works by both local and foreign composers.

Local works include Stabat Mater and Vos Omnes by Giuseppe Caruana. Other works by foreign composers include Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring by J. S. Bach, Crux Fidelis by G. B. Palestrina and other compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Benedetto Marcello. The choir will be conducted by Pio Dalli and accompanied by organist Claudia Grima Tufigno.

Entrance to the concert is free.
