My heart goes all out forCaroline. Those who attended the Voices concert on October 14 know very well what I amtalking about.

Let me first congratulate the choir for singing along with their happy smiling faces, the talented band and soloists, and the conductors and organisers for giving us such an enjoyable evening.

Here I would like to make a suggestion: how about some unplugged numbers next time?

For most of the time the compere managed to entertain the audience with his witty andsatirical humour.

However, he blew it during one of the promotional spots of one of the main sponsors, taking it a little bit too far.

The lady whose ticket was drawn mistakenly ought to have been compensated just like the actual winner.

The spot was not really a competitive one but a promotional one, so why the humiliation, especially from the compere himself?

I’m sure this was a great disappointment to the lady concerned and all those who believe that the audience should be respected in all circumstances.

I must also say that this lady seemed to have taken the situation in her stride and got a round of applause for it too.
