MaltaTicket.com said today that neither it nor its sales agents had anything to do with the events which had been scheduled for this weekend in Qawra and which have now been cancelled.

CEO David Pollina said that the company had started receiving a high volume of calls and discovered that the organiser had illegally duplicated MaltaTicket's Terms of Sale on the back of his tickets, even including MaltaTicket's customer service phone number.

Dr Pollina said the company was considering legal action against the organiser, Manuel Portelli, and MaltaPost which put their logo and sales barcode under the plagiarised Terms of Sale and was engaged in selling the tickets.
