I'm always being told that I talk too much. I guess it's just something I've always loved doing. My mother always tells me that I started talking before I could walk. At 11 months I could hold a pretty decent conversation, I'm almost tempted to call myself a child prodigy haha, but I'll spare you now shall I?

Nowadays you don't even have to utter a word, mid-morning coffee chats to catch up are becoming rare. We live in a world where emails and text messages prevail. We've got 1475 friends on Facebook half of whom we don't know (I'm referring to myself by the way) and we feel that we can say anything to anyone really, if it's written rather than spoken.

There's a lack of inhibitions when someone gets in front of his/her PC and just writes anything that they deem fit to say to you, without having to face you while saying it. There's no blushing or stammering involved.

There's a confident other party on the opposite side, who's put up their best photograph to date as a display picture of themselves or of some super toned male/female model instead of theirs, no prizes for guessing why.

Communicating with others is really something when you think about it. And we've come such a long way from smoke signals, to pigeons, messengers and the like! So really all I need to do is send a bulletin through myspace or send a message on the super fun wall on facebook, or change my nick on msn to " Ira Losco's new DVD ‘Living It...' screening at Cinema 6 as from Saturday" and I'm sure to have someone sitting there watching it! ...

Ira Losco's DVD "Living It.." will be screened at Cinema 6 at the Eden Cinemas as from Saturday.
