• A wreath-laying ceremony to mark the 62nd anniversary of one of the worst sea tragedies in which 23 people drowned, will take place by the monument at the Żewwieqa Waterfront, Mġarr, today at 9.45 a.m. Mass will be said aboard a Gozo Channel ferry, at the site of the tragedy, at 10 a.m.
• The cultural commission of St Peter and St Paul parish, Nadur, will be holding a photographic exhibition about life in Nadur at Dar L-Imnarja, 28th April 1688 Square, Nadur, between November 7 and 14. • Chorus Urbanus will give a concert at Paola parish church on November 19. The concert will bring to an end celebrations marking the church’s centenary. The choir will be under the direction of John Galea.
• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly are holding a car boot sale at the football ground near Victoria parking area today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The price is €10 per car, payable on the day. Hawkers and commercial sellers will not be allowed.
