• A special Mass for youngsters with the participation of the Ignite Band will take place at St Anthony’s church, Għajnsielem, today at 11 a.m.
• The feast of Jesus of Nazareth is being celebrated in Xagħra today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will concelebrate Mass at 4.30 p.m. The Maranatha, The Guiding Light and Santa Klara choirs will take part.
The Victory Band of Xagħra will accompany the procession, followed by an evening of entertainment, including a wine-tasting competition, a wine and pizza party and spot prizes.
• The Gozo Youth Orchestra will present a concert by the German Herzogenrath OSO-orchestra at the Don Bosco Oratory today at 8 p.m. The Gozo Youth Orchestra will join forces with the German orchestra and perform the last three pieces together. The orchestra will also perform during Mass at the oratory today at 10.30 a.m. and give a school concert on Tuesday.
• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at the church of Our Lady of Pompeii, Victoria, next Saturday at 7 p.m.
• The Diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at the Qala parish church next Saturday at 8.30 p.m. followed by Mass at midnight.
