• Today, the Capuchin Friars of Victoria celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Graces. Minister Provincial Manwel Barbara, OFM, Cap., will lead a concelebrated Mass at 9 a.m.

A motorcycle and bicycle pilgrimage leaves Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary at 11 a.m. On arrival at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, Fr Barbara blesses all participants. Fr Maximillian Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass at 6 p.m. The procession, with the participation of the Leone Band and the Fjur t’Assisi choir, will start at 7 p.m.

• The Qala International Folk Festival, organised by Qala council and the Menhir Qala Folk Group, will be held between Thursday and Sunday.

• A blood donation will be held at Dar tal-Irtiri Padova near St Anthony church, Għajnsielem, next Sunday between 8.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

• A special Mass for youngsters, led by Fr Joseph Magro, OFM, will be held at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem, next Sunday at 11 a.m. The Ignite Band will take part. A sketch on the Gospel and a liturgical dance will take place.

• The annual art show by Rotary Club Gozo will be open at the Citadel, Victoria, today. Works by some of Malta’s and Gozo’s foremost names will be featured alongside international talents and those from developing artists. Works will be spread throughout the St John’s, St Michael’s and St Ursula’s halls.

All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Sick and the Elderly in Gozo and Happy Moments in Kenya. The worldwide charity, End Polio Now, run by the Rotary Foundation, will also benefit.

The show, which closes on September 21, is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Entrance is free.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at the church of Our Lady of Pompeii, Victoria, on Saturday at 7 p.m.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Hamet, on Saturday at 8.30 p.m., followed by Mass at midnight.
