• Gaulitana, the festival of music organised by the Gaulitanus Choir continues on Wednesday with a concert by the Chamber Saxophone Quartet (Malta). The concert featuring music ranging from the classical to the light, will be held at St Ursula Hall, Cittadella Centre, Victoria, at 8 p.m. Entrance is free.

• The traditional fair Tal-Għadira ta' San Raflu will be held at Kerċem today from noon. There will be activities for all the family.

• Various activities are being held at St George's Basilica, Victoria, in preparation for Pope Benedict's visit. An exhibition of original engravings related to St Paul's shipwreck from the private collection of Joseph Vella will be inaugurated at St Paul's side-chapel at the basilica today at 9.45 a.m. and remains open throughout the week. Lectures related to Pope Benedict's teachings on the Church, conscience and liturgy will be held at Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia hall tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.15 p.m. Mgr Paul Cardona will lead prayers inspired by Pope Benedict at the basilica on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. An audio-visual presentation on the Pope, with the participation of the Laudate Pueri choir will be held at the basilica on Friday at 7.30 p.m.
