• The feast of St John Bosco is being celebrated today in Victoria. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel at 9 a.m. A parade of horses and ponies will start from St Francis Square at 9.45 a.m. and proceed to St Augustine Square where the blessing of pets will take place at 10.15 a.m. A festive lunch will be held in Marsalforn at 12.15 p.m.

• Cathedral archpriest Joseph Attard will celebrate Mass at 4.30 p.m. followed by the procession with the statue of St John Bosco. The Leone Band of Victoria will take part.

• The Gozo Youth Wind Band and Orchestra will be presenting the annual Don Bosco Grand Concert at the Don Bosco Oratory theatre today at 7.30 p.m. Entrance is free.

• Mgr Grech will lead a concele- brated Mass at the Ta' Savina church, Victoria, today at 5 p.m. to mark the Holy Eucharist feast.

• The Gozo Creative Theatre Club will present the Second Coming of Joan of Arc by Carolyn Gage at Brookies Bar, Victoria, today at 7.30 p.m. Tickets at €5 are available by calling 7930 3101 or 7909 4232.

• The Ladies' Circle of the Sacred Heart Minor Seminary will be holding a coffee morning at the Catholic Action Centre, Victoria, on Thursday at 9 a.m. Tickets at €3 can be obtained from members and from the school.

• Mgr Grech will lead the presentation of babies and children at the Ta' Pinu Sanctuary on Saturday at 4.30 p.m. The ceremony is organised by the Catholic Action Movement.

• It-Tieġ tas-Sinjura Żeż, a comedy in three acts by Carmel Bajada, will be staged at Għarb parish centre on Friday at 7.15 p.m.

• The Gozitan Graduates Movement invites graduates and members of all professions in Gozo (including couples) for First Friday Mass on Friday at St Augustine church, Victoria, at 8.30 p.m. The sacrament of reconciliation will be available from 8.15 p.m.

• The Richmond Foundation (Gozo) is holding a self-help group meeting at the NGO centre in Xewkija on Tuesday at 5.30 p.m. Everyone is invited. For more information call 2210 6151 or e-mail info@richmond.org.mt.
