• Nativity will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• The Padre Pio prayer group is organising a prayer meeting at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces of the Capuchin Friars in Victoria on Friday at 5.30 p.m. The meeting will start with the rosary, followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• The University Centre, in collaboration with the Educational Services, is organising courses on the Church's social teaching for people who are leading groups, meetings and associations, catechists, teachers of religion and personal and social development. The course will begin on Tuesday and will be held over five sessions from 5.30 p.m. till 7.30 p.m. Participants who attend 80 per cent of the lectures will be given a certificate. • The Gieħ Għawdex award ceremony will be held at Palazzo Palina, Ta' Ċenċ Hotel, Sannat, on January 16 at 6.30 p.m. President George Abela will present the award. Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca, Franco Masini and Magro Brothers (Foods Ltd) have been nominated for the award. Bass Noel Galea, accompanied on the piano by Stephen Attard, will take part.
