• Skola Politika Fortunato Mizzi will be holding a public lecture by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech at St Augustine's Monastery in Victoria on Friday at 7 p.m. The theme of the lecture, which will be delivered in Maltese, is 'The Christian Commitment in Politics'. • A vocal recital by Amy Weber and Richard Vendome will be held at Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia, Victoria, today at 8 p.m. The Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir will give a recital at St George's Basilica on Thursday at 12.30 p.m. On Sunday, Elizabeth Leonardi will give a piano recital at Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia at 8 p.m. All concerts are free. People are requested to be seated 10 minutes before the recitals begin.

• The Six@5 collective art exhibition being held at the Art...e Gallery in Victoria is open daily from 9.30 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. On Fridays the exhibition is also open between 5 and 7 p.m. Those interested in viewing the exhibition during different times can call 9980 4774/2155 7911 or e-mail arte gozo@maltanet.net. It will remain open until November 14.

• A collective art exhibition of 20th century paintings of Gozo, Malta, Venice and Italy is open at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria, today between 9 a.m. and noon.

• The art exhibition 'Masks and Mirrors, Illusion and Reflection' is open at St Ursula Hall at the Citadel, Victoria, up to Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• 'Mostly Abstract' by Jöerg Böettcher is open at the Gozo Ministry exhibition hall, Victoria, up to Thursday between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.

• The Mnarja Philharmonic Band will be holding its annual symphonic concert at the MBC Theatre, Mnarja Band Club, Nadur, on November 7 at 8 p.m. Entrance is free.
