• High School Musical 3 will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• Today the Don Bosco Oratory of Victoria is celebrating the 60th anniversay of the opening of the building at St Augustine Square. Last Thursday Gozo Bishop Mario Grech celebrated Mass commemorating also the 20th anniversary of the consecration of the oratory’s chapel. Today, Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca will lead a Mass of thanksgiving at 10.30 a.m.

• The Victoria Scout Group is holding a lunch at the Dwejra campsite on Sunday at 12.30 p.m. Tickets (€12 for adults and €5 for children) are available from the Scouts’ Headquarters on 2155 6497 or the Group Scout leader Lorrie Saliba on 7939 8928 until Thursday. In case of bad weather, the lunch will he held at the group’s headquarters.

• A book exhibition by Mgr Anton Saliba is being held at the Gozo Ministry‘s exhibition hall, Victoria, until October 24. It will be open from Monday to Friday between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. and on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and noon.

• The art exhibition Masks and Mirrors, Illusion and Reflection at St Ursula Hall, the Citadel, is open today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The exhibition closes on October 28.

• Mostly Abstract, portraying paintings by Joerg Boettcher, will be inaugurated at the Gozo Ministry’s exhibition hall, Victoria, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. It will remain open until October 29.

• The Isopu Tower at Nadur will be open on the first, second and third Sunday of each month from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. New directional signs from Nadur to the tower have been set up.

Dwejra Tower will be open from Monday to Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. and when the Din l-Art Ħelwa flag is hoisted.

The Santa Marija Tower in Comino will be open in October for the last month of this season on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. • The general assembly of the Catholic Action Movement will take place at the CAM headquarters, Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, Victoria, on Saturday. The assembly starts at 5 p.m. and will include Mass celebrated by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech and a feature by John Cremona.

• The play Doubt by John Patrick Shanley will be staged at the Cittadella Theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. The play won the Pulitzer Prize in 2002. Tickets at €8 are obtainable from XT Tiġrija Palazz or the SPCA Gozo, or by calling 2156 2498. The theatre has limited seating.
