• Today Sannat celebrates the feast of St Margaret. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a pontifical concelebrated Mass at 9 a.m. The Missa in honorem S. Margaritae by the late Charles Camilleri will be performed. Traditional horse and donkey races will be held at 1.30 p.m. The procession, accompanied by the Santa Margerita Band, will leave the church at 7.45 p.m. The La Stella Band will give a concert at St Margaret Square. Festivities end with a band march by the Ite ad Joseph Band at 10.30 p.m.

• The feast of St Anne will be celebrated in Dwejra Bay, San Lawrenz, today. San Lawrenz parish priest Injazju Borg will say Mass in the chapel dedicated to the saint at 5.30 p.m. followed by the presentation of babies. The Levita Laurentius choir will take participate. Fr George Bezzina will celebrate Mass outside the chapel at 7.30 p.m. followed by a prayer meeting.

• An ecumenical, socio-cultural event will be held at Qala parish square on Wednesday between 9 and 10.30 p.m.

• The Victoria Scout Group is organising a barbecue and campfire at Dwejra on August 5 at 7.30 p.m. Tickets available from the Scouts' Headquarters, the campsite at Dwejra, the Group Scout leader on 7939 89 28, Bookworm Stationery, Republic Street, Victoria andOffice Club Stationery, Dr Anton Tabone Street, Victoria. Closing date is August 3.

• Delicata in conjunction with Nadur council will be organising a wine festival at Ġnien il-Kunsill, Nadur, between September 4 and 6. There will be entertainment every evening. Some 20 wines will be available. People who wish to try the wines need only purchase a souvenir wine glass. Food will also be available.

• The University of Malta will be offering various courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University Gozo Centre from October. The courses include the Degree of Master in Youth and Community Studies co-ordinated by the Department of Youth and Community Studies (Faculty of Education, University of Malta). The course is intended to offer advanced professional education and training for experienced youth and community workers and related professionals, such as teachers and social workers. • The Gozo Youth Orchestra within the Gozo Youth Wind Band and Orchestra in collaboration with the American Embassy and the Gozo Ministry will present a concert entitled 'Opera vs Pop Under The Stars' at the Gozo Ministry's courtyard, Victoria, on August 3 at 8.15 p.m. Soprano Pamela Agius, bass Noel Galea and Pop singer Ludwig Galea will take part.
