• Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will today at 9 a.m. lead a Pontifical Mass on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Succour, Kerċem. The St Gregory choir, under the will take part. The Maria Mater Gratiae Band of Żabbar will play marches at 11 a.m. The procession with the statue of Our Lady of Succour will leave the church at 7.45 p.m.with the participation of St Gregory Band of Kerċem. The Mnarja and Ite ad Joseph bands will give a concert in front of the parish church.

• Ta' Hamet church will celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Thursday. The church rector Mgr Carmelo Hili will say Mass at 6 a.m. There will be adoration from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. followed by a concelebrated Mass by Mgr Grech. A pilgrimage with the statue of Our Lady will follow.

• The Folkloristic Foundation Ta' Klula will be organising a folklore evening at the square in Santa Lucija on July 25 at 8 p.m. The evening will feature traditional food, wine and entertainment. For booking call Carmen on 7956 6496.

• A Diocesan Marian Manifestation will be held in Valley Road, Marsalforn on July 23 at 7.30 p.m. There will be animated rosary followed by Mass led by Mgr Grech.

• The Victoria International Arts Festival comes to an end with a recital by Daniel Veis (violoncello) and Helena Veisová (pianoforte) at the Aula Mgr G. Farrugia (St George's parish centre) this evening and a grand orchestral concert at St George's Basilica tomorrow. Both concerts start at 8 p.m. Tomorrow's concert will feature soloists Daniel Veis and Scott Farrell, the Laudate Pueri Choir and the Malta Philarmonic Orchestra.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly will hold a garage sale at 6 Psaila Street (road leading from upper car park at the side of Victoria bus station) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

• Xagħra council will hold a meeting at the Victory Band Club, Dun Alwiġ Camilleri Hall, on Sunday at 9.30 a.m.
