Today Ghasri marks the feast of Christ the Saviour with a concelebrated Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech at Ghasri church, with the participation of the Lauda Sion choir at 8.30 a.m. Can. Michael Mintoff leads a concelebration with the participation of the Stella Maris Orchestra at 6.30 p.m. A procession with the statue of Christ the Saviour starts at 8 p.m. An evening of music will be held at Saviour Square at 10.15 p.m.
Ta' Klula Folkloristic Foundation of Santa Lucija, in collaboration with Marsovin Ltd, will be holding a wine festival at the village main square on Saturday at 8 p.m. The festival will include art, music, dancing and traditional food. No booking is required.
