• The Gozo Sports Complex will be organising the annual Progressive Show on Saturday at 9 a.m. The activity will include demonstrations in various sport disciplines taught throughout the year during Skolasports. The public is invited.

• The Victoria Scout Group will be organising an open air wine and food evening at Fort Chambray on May 30 at 8 p.m. Modern and retro music will be provided by a DJ. The San Bert Folk Group will provide live music. • 'The Second Coming Of Joan Of Arc' by Carolyn Gage is a one-woman show about a teenaged, cross-dressing, runaway Joan of Arc, who has returned from the dead to share her experiences of patriarchal betrayal with contemporary audiences. The play will be staged at St Michael Hall, Citadel Centre for Culture and the Arts, Victoria, on Friday at 10 p.m., Saturday 6.30 p.m., 9.30 p.m. and midnight and on Sunday at 1.30 p.m. Tickets sell at €5 each and will be available at the door.

• A fundraising high tea will be held at the Leone Band Club, Victoria, at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are available from Thomas Schembri on 2155 9452 or John Schembri on 7955 4891.

• As part of the JP2 Memorial Festival, a collective art exhibition entitled 'Gentes' is open at the Citadel Centre for Culture and Arts, Victoria. Fifteen artists from Italy, France and Malta are taking part. The exhibition remains open until May 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.

• Rotary Club Gozo is organising special wine nights under the stars on the bastions at the Citadel, Victoria, on Friday and Saturday. A €10 fee will payable on entry to cover five full glasses of wine at both evenings. Music will be provided. All proceeds will go to The Friends of the Sick and the Elderly, Oasi, Wirt Għawdex, Happy Moments in Kenya and Rotary Foundation. For more information visit.

• Today Għarb celebrates the feast of the Visitation of Our Lady to St Elizabeth. A concelebrated Mass, led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, will be said at 8.30 a.m. The anniversary of the church's consecration will be commem-orated tomorrow.
