• The Padre Pio Prayer groups in Gozo are meeting today at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces in Victoria for their Lent retreat. Fr Alfred Scerri, national spiritual director, will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m. After a short coffee break, Fr Giovanni Curmi will deliver a talk on the spirituality of St Pio of Pietrelcina, followed by meditation on St Pio's reflections on the Way of the Cross. Those present will have the opportunity to join the Friars Community for lunch at the refectory.

• The Way of the Cross will be held from Ta' Pinu Sanctuary to Ta' Għammar Hill today at 3.30 p.m.

• The feast of the Annunciation will be celebrated at the chapel in Lunzjata Valley, Victoria, on Wednesday. There will be Mass on the hour between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead concelebrated Mass at 4.30 p.m., followed by a Eucharistic celebration.
