• Step Up 2 The Streets will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the Calling of Our Lady of Ta' Pinu and the 150th anniversary of the Lourdes Apparitions, the Don Bosco Oratory will be staging a musical entitled Marija Ta' Nazaret at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, on November 22. Repeat performances will be held on November 23 and 29. All shows start at 7.30 p.m. A double CD album including all the songs featured in the musical has been launched. • The Gozo CCU Foundation is holding an evening at the Grand Hotel, Mġarr, on November 29, from 6.30 p.m. The Amadeus Choir will give a concert with a festive theme, followed by dinner with the participation of The Wallace Pipes and Drums. • The Sacred Heart Major Seminary will be presenting Il-Mera, a social play in three acts originally written in Italian by Roberto Franco and translated into Maltese by Mgr Salv Borg. The first representation will take place on November 23 at 6.30 p.m. Other shows will be held on November 29 at 7 p.m. and on November 30 at 6.30 p.m. Tickets are available from all parishes and from the seminary by calling 2155 6479/9988 6329.

• The annual concert by the La Stella Band of Victoria will be held on Saturday - feast of St Cecilia, patron saint of musicians - at the Astra Theatre at 7.30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free.
