The lucky winner of a Coca-Cola campaign drove off in a brand new Audi A1 car earlier this month after being handed the keys at a prize-giving ceremony at the Continental Cars Ltd. showroom in Ta' Xbiex.

 

Drink and Win Campaign, Ms. Krista Mallia was presented with the keys to her brand new AUDI A1 car by Mr. Maurice Mizzi, Managing Director at Continental Cars Ltd., together with Ms. Maria Micallef, Chief Operations Officer at GSD Marketing Ltd., during a prize-giving event held at the Continental Cars Ltd. showroom in Ta’ Xbiex.

Krista Mallia’s code was drawn from a total of more than 110,000 codes in a random draw which took place on November 1 at GSD Marketing Ltd in Marsa. Public Notary Rosella Soler as well as KPMG auditors Adrian Mizzi and Kenneth Farrugia validated the draw mechanism and oversaw the entire process. Sales and Marketing representatives from GSD Marketing Ltd. and Continental Cars Ltd. were also present. To view a video of the draw, visit the MyCoke Malta Facebook page. 

“I could not believe it at first!” Ms Mallia exclaimed. “I thought it was a joke and I even made my sister call back to confirm it was all true, since I was so thrilled.”

“We are proud to have had a hugely successful campaign and it is with great enthusiasm that we announce the lucky winner for this grand prize, which has been made possible thanks to our collaboration with Continental Cars Ltd,” said GSD Marketing Ltd.'s head of marketing Kyra Meli. 

The ‘Coca-Cola Drink & Win Campaign’ ran between the months of June and October across the Coca-Cola variants, namely Coca-Cola Original, Coca-Cola Zero and Diet Coca-Cola. Consumers were required to look for the gift or code written under the cap of participating products. 18,000 gifts were available including summer and music related Coca-Cola branded merchandise and other items such as tickets to various summer music events taking place on the island.  In addition, consumers were given the opportunity to find and enter the unique codes on the My Coke online portal, giving them the chance to win the grand prize, the fabulous Audi A1 car.

“We are certain that Ms. Mallia will come to appreciate the innovation and technology that is synonymous with the Audi brand while experiencing the magic of ‘Advancement through Technology’, first-hand,” said Mr Mizzi.

Ms. Micallef concluded by saying such campaigns brought the company closer to its loyal customers.
