Another meeting on the possibility of a coalition between the Nationalist and Democratic parties was held today between Nationalist leader Simon Busuttil and PD leader Marlene Farrugia.

Discussions between the two parties had been initiated following Dr Busuttil's speech during the Independence Day mass meeting where he had called for a national coalition against corruption.

The two sides had agreed to work together to give the Maltese people a clean government and a serious administration.

Besides good governance, both sides agreed to focus their work towards the attainment of a sustainable economy, social justice, environmental protection, and the constitutional renewal the country needed.
