Sannat Lions this afternoon denied that its football coach was a police major.

The club was referring to a statement made in Parliament yesterday by Nationalist MP Jason Azzopardi that the coach was a police major in clear breach of regulations.

It said that its coach was Patrick Camilleri who had no connection whatsoever with the police force.

Dr Azzopardi in a reaction to the Sannat Lions statement challenged the club to publish the list of players and coach it handed the MFA in the last season before each game. He also challenged them to say who the club president today is.
