The destination of their honeymoon is still well under wraps, but there is a fair chance it could be in sunnier climes judging by the clothes Kate Middleton is reported to have bought at the end of the week.

The bride-to-be, who ties the knot with Prince William next Friday, picked up a few summer items from Warehouse on King’s Road in Chelsea, London, the high street chain said.

She is said to have bought four items, costing £225 – according to Warehouse they were: Alace trim blouse costing £55; a feather print one shoulder dress at £45; a tropical bird print dress at £65; and a poppy bandeau dress with a price tag of £60.

The royal couple are due to leave for their honeymoon the day after the April 29 wedding after spending their first night together as a married couple at Buckingham Palace.

Speculation has been rife over where the newlyweds will go, with suggestions ranging from Australia to Jordan to the UK.

But it will be no longer than a fortnight – Prince William has two weeks’ leave from his job as an RAF search and rescue helicopter pilot.
