Qualifying sessions at this year’s edition of the Mdina Grand Prix get under way this afternoon in a small circuit just outside the historic capital. All classic cars will be in action again tomorrow morning and afternoon for the race itself. This will be the first automotive event following last Sunday’s crash, which left 28 people injured during a charity fundraising event. Asked about the safety measures in place, the police confirmed that the grand prix event was covered by all necessary permits and documentation.
