Simonds Farsons Cisk plc has launched Cisk Extra Strong Lager Beer (Cisk XS) on the local market. Previously only available in overseas markets, and for a limited time period at The Farsons Great Beer Festival, Cisk XS is now also available in selected outlets in Malta.
Cisk XS is an extra strong premium lager with a full-bodied flavour and a distinct sweet taste. Its subtle bitterness and fresh fruity aroma make this high-gravity beer an ideal accompaniment to meats and savoury foods, Farsons said. It is available in 33cl non-returnable glass bottles and has an alcohol content of 9% ABV.
"The launch of Cisk XS in the local market satisfies a large number of enquiries that we have received from local customers who, after having sampled it at The Farsons Great Beer Festival, wanted it available all year round," said Marco Debono, Brand Executive for Cisk.
The Cisk brand also includes award-winning beers Cisk Lager - first launched in 1928, Cisk Export Premium Lager - a premium smooth-tasting version, and Cisk Excel - a low carbohydrate beer. All beers are brewed to the highest standards using only the choicest raw materials.
